We are focused on providing  culturally rich and diverse educational resources that are lacking within the homeschooling community. Because we believe that we can provide our children with a solid education without sacrificing culture.

Dorcus Ethridge

Founder, Director

Dorcus is wife, homeschooling mother of four, a certified math teacher in the state of Florida, and a former labor and delivery nurse. She has been homeschooling for 12 years. Her eldest child struggled to learn within the public school setting while dealing with ADHD so she made the decision to homeschool him and ultimately all of her children. Dorcus is passionate about sharing her journey and helping others to be successful in their homeschooling experiences as well. She is the author of the blog, Interactive Homeschooling, where she shared homeschooling resources and tips. She went on to later creating Youtube videos and has spent years consultanting and tutoring homeschool, private, and public school students. She has also taught at various homeschool co-ops. Dorcus is passionate about helping the youth,  to succeed academically and to reach their full potential.


Lakeeysha Smith

Founder, Director

Lakeeysha Smith is a mother of 8 and has been homeschooling for 14 ½ years. Throughout her years of educating her own children, she has taught many others and tutored children in traditional school settings in the areas of language arts, reading, science, math and social studies. She is a Dyslexia advocate and currently finalizing her training as an Orton Gillingham tutor. Lakeeysha knows how important it is to have a solid academic foundation and works hard to make sure that children have access to quality resources and instruction.
